If you’ve seen a door canopy, you may think what’s the point? They don’t offer a great deal of wind protection and they can look a little out of place. However, if you don’t want a large porch built above your entrance door, it’s a fine option.
There are plenty of different designs, and they will keep the rain off your head. You’ll often see them added to shops, town houses and terrace buildings, and it can give you chance to take your muddy boots off outside without having to step directly into the house on a wet and windy day. A little protection goes a long way, and a door canopy may not be the most important fixture on a house, but it can keep the rain off your back. They’re relatively cheap too, and very easy to install.
